2 unit in-person CEU - Pressure Ulcers
for CNA Certification Renewal
 
Objectives:
  • Understand what pressure ulcers are 
  • Identify signs and symptoms for pressure ulcers
  • CNA roles in treating a patient with pressure ulcers

Upon completion, you will obtain a certificate with a CDPH NAC # at the end of class- to use for your renewal submission.

  • CDPH Requirements - Please read carefully

    CNA certificates must be renewed every two (2) years.

    • You will need (48) hours of In-Service Training/CEUs within your most recent certification period.
    • A minimum of twelve (12) of the forty-eight (48) hours shall be completed in each year of the two (2) year certification period.
    • A maximum of twenty-four (24) of the forty-eight (48) hours may be obtained only through a CDPH-approved online computer training program listed on our website.

    HHAs certificates must be renewed every two (2) years.

    • You will need twenty-four (24) hours of In-Service Training/Continuing Education Units (CEUs) within your two (2) year certification period. 
    • A minimum of twelve (12) of the twenty-four (24) hours shall be completed in each year of the two (2) year certification period. 
    • HHAs cannot complete CEUs online. 

    Los Angeles Skills Academy is an approved IN-PERSON CEU Provider by the California Department of Public Health. 

    You may obtain all your CEU (48, CNA and 24, HHA) from us.

    NAC Provider # will be provided in your certificate for submission to Dept of Health and for your records
