This comprehensive course features 60 hours of academic instruction—accessible both online and on campus—paired with 100 hours of supervised clinical training in a Skilled Nursing Facility. Through small-group learning led by seasoned healthcare professionals, students acquire both technical proficiency and compassionate, person-centred care techniques. Its fast-track format allows for a smooth and efficient transition into practical healthcare settings.
In Mid-Wilshire, the program offers an immersive experience through diverse teaching approaches, including live skill demonstrations, simulation labs, video modules, and role-playing activities. Students master core CNA responsibilities like assisting with personal hygiene, patient movement, and vital signs monitoring. In addition to clinical skills, participants receive career readiness support through résumé building workshops and practice interviews.
